JD Sports at Willowbrook Shopping Centre is hiring a Store Manager. The Store Manager will lead all aspects of store operations, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience that reflects the JD Sports brand.
- Create staff schedules and assign daily responsibilities.
- Coach, train, and develop team members while building future leaders.
- Recruit and work with HR to maintain a fully staffed store.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and visual presentation standards.
- Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and reduce shrink through effective loss prevention practices.
- Complete bank deposits and help manage store expenses.
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
- Stay informed on new product launches and ensure the team is knowledgeable.
- Plan and support local events and community initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve store performance and operational efficiency.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of retail management experience.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Passion for sports, sneakers, footwear, or fashion retail.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency with iOS devices and related applications.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
