GARAGE is opening soon at Willowbrook Shopping Centre and they are looking for an Assistant Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, customer-focused leader.
The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and supports the overall success of the store. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, organized, fashion-focused, and ready to grow with a dynamic retail brand.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Store Manager with daily store operations.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the store team.
- Help achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
- Create a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
- Assist with inventory management and shipment processing.
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor.
- Support eCommerce order fulfillment.
- Identify opportunities to improve store performance and operations.
- Help build a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Support scheduling and store priorities as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset.
- At least 2 years of management experience, preferably in fashion retail or a similar environment.
- Passion for fashion and customer service.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Flexible, innovative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable using social media and mobile devices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, or OpenOffice.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
