Position Overview
The Operations Consultant works closely with store leadership to keep inventory flowing, the stockroom organized, and the sales floor fully supported. You’ll play a key role in delivering the smooth, polished experience Sephora is known for.
What You’ll Do
Client Service
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to clients when needed
- Assist in training team members on POS and mobile checkout systems
Store Presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in cashier and stock areas
- Support Sephora’s merchandising standards and visual execution
- Participate in loss prevention and inventory control initiatives
Merchandising & Operations
- Receive and process shipments efficiently
- Organize and maintain stockroom standards
- Manage transfers, damages, and tester inventory
- Support visual updates and report missing or damaged elements
- Ensure compliance with safety and sampling procedures
- Communicate inventory issues to store leadership
- Support cashier functions as needed
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of retail or client service experience (stockroom experience an asset)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
- Basic computer and numerical skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable bending, stretching, and staying active throughout shifts
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
