Operations Consultant

Position Overview

The Operations Consultant works closely with store leadership to keep inventory flowing, the stockroom organized, and the sales floor fully supported. You’ll play a key role in delivering the smooth, polished experience Sephora is known for.

What You’ll Do

Client Service

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to clients when needed
  • Assist in training team members on POS and mobile checkout systems

Store Presentation

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in cashier and stock areas
  • Support Sephora’s merchandising standards and visual execution
  • Participate in loss prevention and inventory control initiatives

Merchandising & Operations

  • Receive and process shipments efficiently
  • Organize and maintain stockroom standards
  • Manage transfers, damages, and tester inventory
  • Support visual updates and report missing or damaged elements
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sampling procedures
  • Communicate inventory issues to store leadership
  • Support cashier functions as needed

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of retail or client service experience (stockroom experience an asset)
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
  • Basic computer and numerical skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable bending, stretching, and staying active throughout shifts
  • Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
