Position Purpose
The Zumiez Store Manager is responsible for leading all store functions to achieve sales, service, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals. This role combines hands-on leadership, sales strategy, and team development to ensure the store operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive personal and store sales results in a competitive, high-energy retail environment
- Lead and motivate the team on the sales floor while delivering excellent customer service
- Manage store profitability and analyze reports to identify growth opportunities
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop Assistant Managers and Sales Associates
- Schedule staff strategically to maximize sales performance and payroll efficiency
- Maintain inventory levels and oversee store assets and facilities
- Implement visual merchandising standards and maintain brand presentation
- Build the Zumiez sales culture by ensuring knowledgeable, prompt service
- Participate in company marketing initiatives and training events
